Stamped concrete service involves the installation and finishing of concrete surfaces that are textured, embossed, or patterned to resemble various materials such as brick, stone, tile, or wood. This decorative concrete technique is achieved by using specialized stamping tools and techniques during the concrete pouring and finishing process
The process begins with the pouring and placement of fresh concrete onto the prepared surface. The concrete mix is typically composed of cement, aggregates, water, and additives to achieve the desired strength, workability, and finish.
Before the concrete sets, integral colorants or surface-applied color hardeners are added to the mix to impart color to the concrete. Integral colorants are mixed directly into the concrete mix, while color hardeners are applied to the surface and worked into the concrete during the stamping process.
